Commissions - Old Masters

I do not generally accept commissions other than reproductions of Old Masters from the selected collection displayed on my website. However, I would consider painting works by other Masters on a commission basis should a client request a particular piece by one of the greats.

Old Master works are painted in either acrylic or oil on high-quality canvas and require a significant amount of time to reproduce, as each piece is entirely hand-painted. Considerable attention is given to researching the original artist in order to understand their style, techniques, and approach, ensuring an authentic and respectful reproduction.

Acquiring an original Old Master painting is almost impossible, with prices often running into millions of dollars. Many originals are held in private collections or housed in major art museums around the world.

All reproductions are framed using styles appropriate to the era, interpreted with a modern sensibility. While original frames were often highly ornate and exceptionally expensive to replicate today, care is taken to ensure each frame complements the artwork and reflects its historical context.
